Vladimir Nabokov was born and spent his childhood In this house on the Bolshaya Morskaya street. After the revolution he and his family emigrated from Russia. However, in this building, which later became a museum, there remained a big collection of personal belongings of the writer’s family, various types of editions of his books, a collection of butterflies collected by Nabokov himself, as well as pages with drawings for his beloved Vera. Unfortunately, Vladimir never returned here again.
